All containers over one litre are worth 25 cents and any container under a litre will get you a 10 cent refund. This includes clear or coloured plastic (PET) and glass, semi-transparent or solid plastic (HDPE), polycoat containers, bag-in-a-box bladders, and plastic foil pouches.

However, there are certain containers that are not accepted for a refund at our depot. These items should be recycled at home using your blue bag and include:

  • Cooking and vegetable oil
  • Lemon/lime juice
  • Concentrated beverages
  • Disposable cups
  • Infant formula
